1. content of the online offer

The author accepts no responsibility for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author relating to material or non-material damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information are excluded as a matter of principle, insofar as there is no demonstrable intentional or grossly negligent fault on the part of the author. All offers are subject to change and non-binding. The author expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages or the entire website without prior notice, or to cease publication temporarily or permanently.

2. references and links

The author is not responsible for any contents linked or referred to from his pages – unless he has full knowledge of illegal contents and would be able to prevent the visitors of his site fromviewing those pages. The author hereby expressly declares that at the time the links were created, no illegal content was discernible on the linked pages. The author has no influence on the current and future design, content or authorship of the linked pages. For this reason, he hereby expressly distances himself from all contents of all linked pages that were changed after the link was set. For illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and in particular for damages arising from the use or non-use of such information, the provider of the page to which reference is made shall be solely liable, and not the party who merely refers to the respective publication via links.

3. copyright and trademark law

All brand names and trademarks mentioned on the website and possibly protected by third parties are subject without restriction to the provisions of the applicable trademark law and the ownership rights of the respective registered owners. The mere mention of a trademark does not mean that it is not protected by the rights of third parties! The copyright for published objects created by the author himself remains solely with the author of the pages. Any duplication or use of objects such as diagrams, sounds or texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the author’s agreement.

4. consent to use of data

The responsible party for the collection, processing and use of your personal data within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act is Opticunion GmbH, Heinrich-Hertz-Straße 27, 78052 Villingen-Schwenningen. If you wish to object to the collection, processing or use of your data by Opticunion GmbH in accordance with these data protection provisions as a whole or for individual measures, you can send your objection by e-mail, fax or letter to the following contact details: Opticunion GmbH, Heinrich-Hertz-Straße 27, 78052 Villingen-Schwenningen, Fax: +49 (0)7721 9940 111, E-Mail: In addition, you can of course also obtain information about the data stored by us free of charge at any time (please also see point 4.7).

Personal data is information about factual or personal circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address and all inventory data that you provide to us when you create your customer account. Statistical data that we collect, for example, when you visit our web shop and that cannot be directly linked to your person are not included here. For example, these are statistics about which pages of our shop are particularly popular or how many users visit certain pages of the Opticunion shop.

Data protection is very important to us. Therefore, we strictly adhere to the legal provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act when collecting, processing and using your personal data. We collect, store and process your data for the entire processing of your order, including any subsequent warranties, for our services, technical administration and our own marketing purposes. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transferred if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing or if you have given your prior consent. In the context of order processing, for example, the service providers we use here (such as carriers, logisticians, banks) receive the necessary data for order and order processing. The data thus disclosed may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their task. Any other use of the information is not permitted and does not take place with any of the service providers entrusted by us. For your order we need your correct name, address and payment details. Your personal data will be deleted if there are no legal obligations to retain it and if you have asserted a claim for deletion, if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.

In addition to processing your data to complete your purchase from Opticunion GmbH, we also use your data to communicate with you about your orders, specific products or marketing promotions and to recommend products or services that may be of interest to you. You can object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time, either in whole or for individual measures, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. A notification in text form to the contact data mentioned under item 1 (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this purpose. NEWSLETTER
For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have previously expressly confirmed that you want us to activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification email and ask you to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this email. If you do not wish to receive any more newsletters from us at a later date, you can object to this at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. A notification in text form to the contact data mentioned under item 1 (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this purpose. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

Each time the Opticunion GmbH website is accessed, usage data is transmitted by the respective internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files. The data records stored contain the following data: Date and time of access, name of the page accessed, IP address, referrer URL (origin URL from which you came to the web pages), the amount of data transferred, as well as product and version information of the browser used. The IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymised after the end of use. In the case of anonymisation, the IP addresses are changed in such a way that the individual data on personal or factual circumstances can no longer be attributed to a specific or identifiable natural person or can only be attributed to a specific or identifiable natural person with a disproportionate amount of time, cost and labour.

The information collected by the cookie about the use of our website (including your IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
